Project Goals
New communication devices, including mobile, chat, text messaging, web, make China one of the world’s largest producers and consumers of technology. How are personal, mobile and network technologies fostering new relationships and opportunities in the world’s largest emerging market?
In 2005 we will hold planning meetings with Chinese business leaders, design educators, and consumer researchers. Spring activities included talks at Philips Design Center in Hong Kong and MIcrosoft Research in Beijing, and meetings with Motorola, Huawei, UPA China, Hong Kong Polytechnic and Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Research results will be shared at www.jaredRESEARCH.com in the future.
